Tuathal is an Irish brand making linen tote bags in colours worth getting excited about. Each bag is designed and made by hand in County Armagh, using linen sourced from local Irish mills.
The name Tuathal comes from the Irish origin of the founder's surname - pronounced tu-hul.

How it started
Tuathal grew out of a love of colour, craft, and beautiful materials. As awareness of sustainability and the impact of fabric choices grew, the idea of creating beautiful designs using local, natural materials, felt like the only thing that made sense.
In 2024, Tuathal's founder Clare taught herself to sew on her grandmother's old sewing machine. What started as a personal project to make a more sustainable wardrobe grew into Tuathal — a brand with a simple belief that the everyday things you carry should be made well, from the right materials and in a way that you like.
Each bag is designed and made in County Armagh, using Irish linen and cotton lining.
